Xiaozhou Liu


Professor, director of the Key Laboratory of Modern Acoustics, Institute of Acoustics, Nanjing University


Professor Xiaozhou Liu received the B.S. degree in 1989 in acoustics and the doctorate in acoustics in 1999 from Nanjing University, P.R. China. He engaged in postdoctoral research at Shanghai Jiaotong University from 1999-2000 and worked at Pennsylvania State University as a visiting professor in 2009.

His research includes ultrasonic nondestructive testing, nonlinear acoustics and medical ultrasound and published more than 100 papers. He won Science and Technology Progress Awards from State Board of Education in China in 2007 and 1997 respectively, the first paper prize from Far East Forum on Nondestructive Evaluation and Testing in 2011, the outstanding academic award conferred by Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Association in 2006, the outstanding Youth paper Award from Acoustical Society of China in 2003. He has chaired three National Natural Science Foundations of China, attended two National Basic Research Programs of China and involved in the completion of the five national Natural Science Foundations of China. He has successfully developed a new kind of piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer, reaching the international advanced level identified by Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Department. In attention he has obtained four national invention patents.

Now He is the fellow of the Acoustical Society of China and the director of Physical Acoustics Branch of the Acoustical Society of China and the Acoustical Society of Jiangsu Province. He serves as vice Chairman of Program Committee in the Far East Forum on Nondestructive Evaluation and Testing and serves as one of the Standing Committee of the sixth Instrument Engineering Development Committee.

刘晓宙 刘晓宙,近代声学教育部重点实验室主任,中国声学学会和江苏省声学学会物理声学分会主任委员。1998年毕业于南京大学电子科学与工程系,获理学博士学位。1999年-2000年在上海交通大学从事博士后的研究工作,2009年在美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学材料研究所做访问学者。





研究成果编辑
在国内外学术刊物及国际会议上发表论文100余篇,曾获国家教委科技进步奖二项(2007,排名第三;1997年,排名第六)、远东无损检测论文一等奖(2011,排名第二);四川省科学技术协会所授予的优秀学术论文奖(2006,排名第一);中国声学学会优秀青年论文奖( 2003年,排名第二)及上海交通大学博士后奖励基金一项(2001年,排名第一),曾主持完成二项国家自然科学基金项目;参与完成五项国家自然科学基金(包括二项重点基金)和完成一项中国博士后基金的研究。研制成功新型压电超声传感器,达到国际先进水平,并通过江苏省科技厅鉴定。已获得四项国家发明专利。
